About the Triple Crown: The Triple Crown yields three pearls. These oysters take anywhere from 2 to 5 years to mature. Once they've reached maturity they are harvested, properly cleaned, preserved and shipped to our location. 

The pearls are different colors and sizes. No two are the same. The color of each pearl carries its own meaning. The dentification brochure included with the activity will divulge the answer.

Harvest Activity:

  • Choose an oyster from the mermaids sea bed.
  • Pry open the mouth.
  • Remove the protective membrane and release the pearls.
  • Clean the pearls and the interior oyster shells.
  • Discover the pearls' meaning using the identification brochure.
  • Choose whether or not to set the pearl(s) in a necklace for all to admire!
